English indie pop band London Grammar has been quietly producing new music over the years, since their debut If You Wait in 2013, and their second album Truth Is a Beautiful Thing was released in 2017. Now the group is back in the game, with singer and front-woman Hannah Reid being featured on a new track with Flume.

Electronic musician and producer Streten has also been quiet over the last few years, until his mix Hi This Is Flume was released earlier this year. This single is a peek at some new material by the Australian DJ. Watch out for him in your city for his world tour!

Some words from Streten and Reid about working together on “Let You Know.”

“Hannah and I wrote Let You Know last summer. I was on a writing trip to London, was actually the same trip where I first met slowthai. Had been wanting to make something with Hannah for a long time and this one just came together really naturally in the studio that day!”

“Working with Harley was an honor because he pushes the boundaries of electronic music like nobody else. He’s the kind of electronic artist who will be around forever. I love our song we did together.”

The twitchy, bright electronic track is true to Flume’s style, pairing the purely angelic vocals from Reid that London Grammar fans are so fond of, creates quite the dynamic mix. Instrumental samples dance around the steady base line and percussion, with emotionally open lyrics. It’s bound to be an easy hit.

But I’ll let you know that you fill me whole

So now that you try to call me home

Let me know just what you’re thinking of

And now these words are all air

Yesterday, Reid and Flume’s Harley Streten released the new track that both artists wrote together and was produced by Streten. Listen to the new track “Let You Know,” below.
